Carved Giltwood Overmantel Mirror
Unadulterated with the original mirror plate and gilding, the top frieze decorated with plaster cast foliate decoration, with a couple of losses.  The gilding of the frame which is original is rubbed to the most beautiful shine in places, the odd chip.  The mirror plate is also original and distressed in parts.   Gilding like this cannot be replicated, it is age toned.
