A Meissen figure of a Heron, mid 20th Century. Model by Max Esser. The birds plumage picked out in brown and black, foliage and base highlighted in reddish brown. With crossed swords mark and number 77306 in underglaze-blue, incised number H298 and 156: painter mark 23. 12.5cm high.

Condition. The piece has one loss to end of a leaf.
