A matched pair of silver sauce boats
The sauce boats both have scrolling handles and scallop shell feet. The original made around 1750/60 (the London hallmark rubbed too much to be clear) this was then later decorated in around 1850, with scrolls and flowers, the later one was made to match and hallmarked in Birmingham in 1905 by William Aitken.
Georgian boat 344grs, later boat 384grs.
Approx 22cm long, 19cm to top of handle.
Condition: Older sauce boat with some repairs and patching.
