A pair of Early 19th Century miniature portrait silhouettes of children
Painted on paper and heightened in gold, framed in a typical period black lacquered frame with embossed gilt mount, the girl with convex glass, the boy with flat glass, both with uniform acorn hangers. The silhouettes painted at Dixon, 21 St James Parade Bath and dated 1820, the sitters are W.J. Hendal and J.P Hendal.
15cm H (not including the loop), 12.5cm W.
Condition: both portraits are in lovely condition, the top left corner of the girl's frame has a small chip.
