19th Century Chinese Export Rice Paper Picture
Watercolour and gouache studies on rice paper of harvesting lotus flowers, two panels mounted together, bright bold colours, each panel with damages as shown in the images, mounted and framed in a period black lacquered chinoiserie frame with a panelled back. Although damaged these vivid images are well preserved and decorative.
