A pretty Edwardian turquoise and seed-pearl necklace
strung as a row of seed-pearls with a fringe of 17 turquoise scallop shell shaped polished beads attached with fine gold wire and with a barrel clasp
Condition: The little seed-pearl are typical of freshwater seed-pearls being irregular natural shapes, they are strung with knots between and the string is in good condition. The turquoises are an attractive shade and have visible matrix. The wires fixing the turquoises to the necklace are in good condition. A very attractive period piece in good original condition.
