The surface with well defined craquelure all over the stained surface, the top opens in the form of a school desk, the front panel falls forward supported on ribbons to reveal a cupboard and there are two drawers
British, circa 1900.
Condition: The knob handles have been replaced with bronze pulls and you can still see the peg marks from the old handles but this is an old repair. The wonderful surface finish can be clearly seen in the photographs, the whole piece is in good sound condition and ready to be used. A good looking shop checkout or restaurant waiting staff stand.
