Pair of Grand Tour Bronze and Marble Tazza
These well formed low urns with fluted bowl and shaped foot, each with two pairs of handles, standing on Sienna Marble plinths and bronze bases.
French, circa 1830
The term tazza is Italian and is a wide but shallow saucer-like dish either mounted on a stem and foot, often made in stone and glass but this example in bronze.
Condition: The bronze with excellent colour and patina, the Sienna marble bases are very well preserved, there is a small half-moon shaped repair to one of them which is illustrated in the images.
