A pair of French Louis XV style gilt armchairs, or fauteuils
Fluted part-upholstered arms, exagerated foliate crested carving to the back, overstuffed seats and cabriole legs
French, circa 1900
Condition: Gilding generally very good, a little worn to the ends of the arms. The yellow silk is a little stained to the seats and the arms are worn through, the upholstery and springs are in good shape so they are ready to recover.
