Mahogany Estate Cupboard with Pigeon Holes
The panelled doors open to a fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers.
British, mid 19th century.
Condition: Good quality figured mahogany panelled doors, small loss to the bottom of the cover strip between the doors, the cupboard sits on bun feet which are later in date than the rest of the cupboard. Internally the pigeon holes are all in good condition, the top section has divisions for files, these are adjustable in width, the lower section is fitted with three rows of drawers, some with non matching handles. It probably started out life as the upper section of a larger or fitted piece of office furniture.
