Continental mahogany commode
Typically low waisted continental design with canted corners, the top with satinwood crossbanding, three uniform drawers with well figured mahogany fronts and lion mask handles, stands on bun feet
Continental, late 19th Century
Condition: The commode is very original and with great colour to the mahogany veneer. The top has a crack across the middle and there are some score marks to the top, these have all been polished and are part of the character of the piece (see the additional photos), the veneer has also had a couple of little patches in places. It is in good serviceable condition, all the drawers run smoothly and it is ready to use.
