A 19th Century hardstone urn and cover. The main body of the urn carved entirely from one piece of reddish brown hardstone with seams of a bluish colour and white speckles. Of goblet style design, the lid with a stylised acorn finial. 24cm high.
Condition: The lid has a crack from one side to the other running alongside and not effecting the finial. The crack has been repaired and appears to be stable. The main body of the urn is perfect but for one tiny chip to the stem which is apparent only on close inspection.
